Starts off with 12 beats, followed by 30 beats, then 14 beats. I always wondered why the Fare Thee Well band didn't play it with a 50 beat intro.

I was there, it was most excellent. I think this night was the best of the three show run in terms of the music, though the energy for the NYE show the next day was unlike anything I've experienced before.
Also, take it easy Lickface, we were shouting "Ru" (as in Russo). It was a term of endearment and was certainly warranted as he rocked the house as only he could.

I wasn't at this show, but I have seen Phil twice at the Capitol. Amazing venue, amazing shows. This is, too, is a pretty great show.
That said, I have to ask: were people booing Joe Russo when Phil was introducing the band at the very end of the show?! If so, that's bananas...and incredibly rude. I would love to see those haters get behind Joe's drumset and play incredibly complex rhythms while singing incredibly complex lyrics...
There are a lot of shady people at the Capitol on a Phil night, but those in the audience who would boo anyone onstage are by far the shadiest McShadies ever.
